As many of you avid collectors know, the Original Snow Village was the first village collection Department 56 introduced. As the line grew in popularity, many accessories were added to enhance the village. One of the accessories that was really popular was the Monks-A-Caroling, which featued four monks dressed in brown robes and carrying songbooks. Their Christmas songs could be heard throughout Snow Village as they travelled from house to house. Their checks were all aglow from the cold winter air, but hopefully they will be invited inside soon for cookies and hot chocolate.
